Charities we support

WE Give Back

At St James' we are always mindful of our good fortune in the gifts God has given us and we try to support others less fortunate. We do this is lots of ways;

We volunteer our time and talents for a whole range of good causes - you can read about some of these here.

We raise special collections -  - a total of £1498.00 this last year. We have supported various causes with special collections and also topped them up with pledges fom church funds totalling £2,400 making a total of funds given of £3898.00. We donate items for various causes:

Toiletry items for christmas parcels for The Mission to Seafarers.

Our Harvest offerings are used by The Salvation Army to help homeless and desperate people in Croydon.

Tinned and dried foodstuffs for distribution to families in dire need to the Purley Food Hub
