Do you know what to do if a friend or a member of your family suffers a medical emergency?Come along and learn important FIRST-AID SKILLS that might save the life of someone you love.Course will include: What to do in an emergency How to deal with an unconscious casualty CPR for adult, child and baby How to deal with choking How to deal with bleeding and burns A brief look at some medical conditions including asthma, diabetes, anaphylaxis and febrile convulsions
Learning First Aid is a vital life skill suitable for all ages, but these courses will be aimed at those over 14. The course will run in St. James’ Church Hall, Little Roke Avenue for 2 ½ hours at a cost of £10.00 per personThere is no test or exam and plenty of practical hands-on experience. You will receive a participation certificate at the end of the course. Places are limited for each session:Friday 20 March 09.30-12.00Monday 23 March 12.30-15.00Thursday 30 April 19.00 – 21.30
